Harvest Tabernacle Ministries

     This woman of God aims to lead by example.  God has given her a heart for women.  She is the founder and leader over "The King's Daughters", womens ministry, the women's ministry of Harvest Tabernacle Ministries.   First Lady Townes' desire is to see women come into the knowledge of who they are in Christ.  Not as the world sees them but as Christ has created them and predestined them to be.   

     She also works along side First Lady Tracy Hinton of (www.spmbc.org) St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, together they have founded "God's Elect Leading Ladies" also known as G.E.L.L.  This is a ministry that networks with other First Ladies in the Metro East area to bring Encouragement, Support and Enhancement to the well-being of First Ladies that work along side their husbands in ministry. 

An anointed teacher and a very supportive wife and co-laborer with her husband this woman of God is a servant-leader in the Kingdom of God.

The prophet Isaiah sums up well who the Lord has called me to be and what the Lord has called me to do in the earth.  Isaiah 61:1,2 says, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn." 

Some would say, that's the Old Testament and it doesn't apply today.  This wonderful passage is also echoed by Jesus in Luke 4:18.  The wonderful thing about God's Word is that it doesn't just apply to one individual believer but it is a part of all of our inheritance as children of God!
